Finally!!

Well where do I even start? We are finally at the tail end of Davids deployment. This is our first deployment and it has definately made me a stronger person. I am learning how to do all kinds of things that I never thought I could do or even attempt to do. Just to give you some background, David has been gone since March of 2007. I moved home to Arizona to be closer to family and friends who helped me out tremendously. Thanks guys! We miss you already! March 11th of 2008 the boys and I(mom came and helped, Love ya!!) moved back to VA to get settled before Dave gets home. So that brings us to the present. I just have to get through May and I will see my Hero of a husband again!! Luckily I have things coming up that will help keep me busy and hopefully help the time go fast. Coming up first is my birthday which I also share with my niece Joslyn! Who by the way is the cutest little girl ever! Thanks sweety for always letting me do your hair! She actually sits still. Anyway although sad because my hubby is not home to spoil me I am still looking forward to turning 29. Then there is mothers day! Ok also sad because my husband is not home to spoil me. I wll try very hard not dwell on that part of it and still enjoy myself. I have a great support group here. It is called The Family Readiness group or otherwise known as the FRG. This group consists of other Army wives who husbands are deployed with mine. We get together and do lots of things and are very supportive of eachother. So within this group we have a activites committe which of course I am on. You know I love to be social. So we are trying to raise money for what is called the Old Guard Ball. So that the cost of it is down or there will be no cost if we can raise enough money. It's basically like prom. So we decided that we are going to bag groceries at the commisary! That should be fun considering I have never done anything like that. But I am always up for a challenge. So I have that to look forward to on Saturdays! I don't know if that will keep me busy enough but I'm sure I can find plenty to keep me busy. So I know this is really long. Thanks for reading it. I have one more comment before I go. Ya know how I mentioned learning how to do things that I didn't know how to do. I get to learn how to mow the lawn. It's not very big but it looks like a jungle and definately needs to get cut. I will keep you posted with how that goes. Ok I am going to go now.
