First day of school!!

Caleb started all day kindergarden this year!! David was able to go into work late so he came with us for Calebs first day. I of course got teary eyed but held back untill I was out of site of people. He was so excited to walk into his classroom and see his name on the table and meet all the other kids. Aidan wanted to stay and play with all the toys so he wasn't very happy when we had to go. As we where walking to our car I started to cry. David saw me and chuckled a little. I asked him why do you alwys laugh at me when I cry and he said I think it's cute. I guess that's ok then and I won't be mad. I took Caleb to school for the first couple of days but the he started begging me to ride the bus. I was so nervous for him to ride it. I had to work up the nerve to let him. So when he finally did and I asked him what he thought and he said it was awesome!! So now he rides the bus all the time. I worry about him everyday and it's so weird not having him around. It has definately taken some getting used to for both of us.

Did you miss me?

If you've been wandering why I haven't posted in a long time it's because I have been very sick. I am 14 weeks pregnant and finally feeling like I can actually function. I don't think I have ever thrown up so much in my life. It was definately not fun. I am due about March 9th and I hope to have a girl. We should find out sometime next month so I will keep you posted with that info.

Hair cuts

Ok so my boys hair grows so fast that I feel like I am taking them to get there hair cut every few months. That can get very expensive. So this month I decided to try to cut it myself. The problem is that they hate getting there hair cute. To the point where they are screaming and crying like they are being killed. Regardless I was going to try. Caleb is a little easier to persuade and doesn't do to bad. For Aidan I put him in a booster seat and seat belted him in. I tried to go as fast as I could but he kept putting his hands and arms in the way. I got it done but Aidan has a lot of long pieces still and it looks kind of funny. I think maybe I will switch off taking them somewhere to get it cut and me and Dave cutting it.

Allergic

For those of you who know us well, know that Caleb is allergic to peanuts/peanut butter. We found this out when he was about a year old I think. I gave him a peanut butter cookie and he started breaking out in rash from head to toe. We were told that he could either grow out of it or have it all his life. Well he hasn't grown out of it yet. So when we had Aidan I wandered if maybe he would have the same thing too. Well so far we haven't found anything that kid can't and won't eat. Not until recently did I discover an allergy. Not to food but to medicine. Aidan had been complaining about his ear hearting and when I took him in to the Dr. he was prescribed amoxiciline. He was to take it once a day for seven days. On the fifth day my little Aidan was covered in rash. No area left uncovered. So to the ER we go and it is determined that he is allergic to amoxiciline and all the other "cilines" . I will be interested to see what my future children might be allergic too.

Finally!!

Well where do I even start? We are finally at the tail end of Davids deployment. This is our first deployment and it has definately made me a stronger person. I am learning how to do all kinds of things that I never thought I could do or even attempt to do. Just to give you some background, David has been gone since March of 2007. I moved home to Arizona to be closer to family and friends who helped me out tremendously. Thanks guys! We miss you already! March 11th of 2008 the boys and I(mom came and helped, Love ya!!) moved back to VA to get settled before Dave gets home. So that brings us to the present. I just have to get through May and I will see my Hero of a husband again!! Luckily I have things coming up that will help keep me busy and hopefully help the time go fast. Coming up first is my birthday which I also share with my niece Joslyn! Who by the way is the cutest little girl ever! Thanks sweety for always letting me do your hair! She actually sits still. Anyway although sad because my hubby is not home to spoil me I am still looking forward to turning 29. Then there is mothers day! Ok also sad because my husband is not home to spoil me. I wll try very hard not dwell on that part of it and still enjoy myself. I have a great support group here. It is called The Family Readiness group or otherwise known as the FRG. This group consists of other Army wives who husbands are deployed with mine. We get together and do lots of things and are very supportive of eachother. So within this group we have a activites committe which of course I am on. You know I love to be social. So we are trying to raise money for what is called the Old Guard Ball. So that the cost of it is down or there will be no cost if we can raise enough money. It's basically like prom. So we decided that we are going to bag groceries at the commisary! That should be fun considering I have never done anything like that. But I am always up for a challenge. So I have that to look forward to on Saturdays! I don't know if that will keep me busy enough but I'm sure I can find plenty to keep me busy. So I know this is really long. Thanks for reading it. I have one more comment before I go. Ya know how I mentioned learning how to do things that I didn't know how to do. I get to learn how to mow the lawn. It's not very big but it looks like a jungle and definately needs to get cut. I will keep you posted with how that goes. Ok I am going to go now.
